Irish rock legends Thin Lizzy graced the stage in Kellys in 1970 and again in 1974 and local people have rightly been talking about it since then. The band was started by 2 best friends, the late Phil Lynott and drummer Brian Downey and took the world by storm cementing themselves in rock history before Phils untimely death in 1986.
Now Brian has formed Alive & Dangerous with 3 fine players and has been performing Thin Lizzy classics all over Europe for the last few years and we are lucky to bring them to Kellys for a very special show. This is an event that we have had in the pipeline since 2019 and are finally getting to see it over the line, and no better weekend for it than North West 200 Friday.
Brian Downey is regarded as one of the finest rock drummers in history and still plays every bit as good as he did back in the 70s so you will not be disappointed in the show he delivers.
